Size depends on who plays there. A tee-ball field needs far less than a high school diamond. We work from the field dimensions and the league or district standard, and set the posts in footings sized for the height.
Repairs are common. Mesh behind the plate stretches and curls after years of impacts, bottom rails bend, and fabric pulls loose from the frame. Replacing fabric and rails on a sound frame costs much less than a new structure. Public school and park projects may have their own approval steps, which the owner's facilities office directs.
